We are supporting a high-growth, international Financial Services organisation in their search for an Interim Head of Procurement to lead procurement activity through a period of transition and change following a recent carve-out from a global parent company.
This is a newly created role to support the establishment of an in-house procurement capability. With services previously delivered via a larger group function, the business is now standing up its own procurement team, processes, and systems from scratch.
The RoleThis is a high-impact, hands-on interim opportunity, reporting directly to the CFO. The successful candidate will help shape the future direction of the procurement function, supporting both short-term operational needs and longer-term strategic planning.
Key responsibilities may include:

Conducting an initial assessment of current procurement landscape, priorities, and risks

Supporting transition from legacy group services (carve-out activity)

Advising on immediate sourcing and supplier management requirements

Helping to define the future team structure, roadmap, and operating model

Developing foundational procurement processes, policies, and controls

Laying the groundwork for a permanent hire to build the function long-term
We're looking for a senior procurement professional with:

Strong generalist experience across multiple categories (e.g. tech, consultancy, corporate services)

Proven experience in greenfield, transformation, or carve-out environments

The ability to work at pace and bring clarity to ambiguous situations

Confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, particularly in finance and operations

Familiarity with third-party risk management would be an advantage
