Human Capital Partners are partnering exclusively with a PE backed, Real Estate business to appoint their Procurement Lead. This is a newly created role that reports to the Head of Asset Management and will be responsible for creating and shaping the procurement function, across the Group.

The successful candidate will develop the procurement functions processes and systems, seek continuous improvements, influence stakeholders and create a standardised approach across the Group. Contributing to the delivery of the organisation's goals, budget, and improvement aspirations through partnering with key suppliers and business stakeholders to realise year on year improvements and benefit the bottom line. Preparing and presenting regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings and supplier performance.

You will assist in acquisition activity to integrate new firms into the business, reviewing existing contract schedules, understanding business needs, and consolidating into the existing service provision framework. Evaluating regional and central business needs and working to consolidate their supplier list, building on successful relationships, weeding out underperformers, and seeking new partnership opportunities to improve business support.

Required skills and experience

  • Proven track record of procurement within a multi-site business
  • Comprehensive understanding of supplier relationship management and service provision
  • Experience of account key account reconciliation and budgeting
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Efficient time management ability and proven track record of a multifaceted role
  • Experience dealing with varied stakeholders, both internally and externally
