Assistant M&E Quantity Surveyor

Overview

A highly successful large UK M&E Contractor are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor 

They undertake projects up to the value of around £3m in a variety of sectors, including commercial, public sector, education and healthcare.

They are looking for Junior M&E Quantity Surveyors to be site-based and work closely with a Senior Quantity Surveyor. The ideal candidate will have current experience within a similar role within M&E Contracting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assisting in carrying out monthly valuations
• Prepare and monitor project cash flow
• Contract Administration
• Agreement of subcontract & supplier accounts
• Cost reporting
• Value engineering

Person Specification

• Relevant degree advantageous but not essential
• Trade background would be advantageous
• Minimum 1+ years’ experience post qualification in a contracting environment essential
• Experience within the M&E industry
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team
• Excellent IT Skills essential
• Excellent communication and organisation skills essential
