The Opportunity:

We're working with a reputable contractor delivering maintenance and refurbishment works across the social housing sector. They're now looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with proven experience in voids and reactive repairs to support ongoing contracts across West London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the financial management of social housing refurbishment and maintenance contracts.

  • Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts.

  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate cost control and reporting.

  • Procure and manage subcontractors, materials, and labour packages.

  • Ensure commercial compliance with contract terms and internal procedures.

  • Attend site visits and liaise regularly with clients, site staff, and suppliers.



What We're Looking For:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role.

  • Hands-on experience with voids and reactive maintenance contracts is essential.

  • Strong understanding of social housing frameworks and SOR (Schedule of Rates) desirable.

  • Familiarity with JCT/NEC contracts.

  • Good commercial acumen and confident communicator.

  • Degree-qualified or working towards (QS or related).

  • Full UK driving licence.
