Assistant Quantity Surveyor for High End Residential Main Contractor
About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Your role as a Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be to work with the team on variety projects and maintenance works from start to finish. The right candidate will also be willing to learn and have motivation to successfully deliver projects for clients. Alongside the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be preparing cost estimates,budgets and payment applications, as well as gathering and organising cost data. You will be working on projects between 1 & 5 million on high end residential and some commercial projects.
Requirements for Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
The company are looking for a process driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor who has strong negotiation and communication skills, is organised and has high attention to detail. You will come from a Trainee QS background and be competent in assisting managing the downstream process, have an understanding of the reporting process and and have strong commercial acumen. You will be highly motivated and ambitious as there is opportunity to progress your career with the team.
Requirements:
- Experience in a Quantity Surveying role, supporting senior QS professionals
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of building and maintaining positive relationships.
- Willing to work 5 days per week on site in Central London
- Degree in Construction related subject
