Associate Quantity Surveyor – Leading London Construction Consultancy

Flagship Consulting is proud to be working in partnership with one of London’s most respected Construction Consultancies in the search for an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor. This is a key leadership role within a thriving team that delivers public sector projects across education, local government, and healthcare.

With a strong pipeline of work and an excellent reputation in the market, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional looking to step into a senior client-facing role with responsibility for major commissions and team development.

The Role:

You will take the lead on a range of complex public sector projects, acting as a key client liaison and ensuring best-in-class delivery. Working under NEC contracts, you will manage both pre- and post-contract services, mentor junior team members, and contribute to business development and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of public sector projects (education, healthcare, local authority)

  • Manage cost planning, procurement strategy, and contract administration (NEC)

  • Oversee project teams and support the development of junior surveyors

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Ensure projects are delivered efficiently, to budget and programme

Requirements:
  • Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within public sector projects

  • Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts

  • MRICS qualified (preferred)

  • Ability to lead projects and manage clients confidently

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
