Associate Quantity Surveyor - London
A leading and award-winning Quantity Surveying consultancy are looking to add an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor to their team. The Associate Quantity Surveyor will be based in Central London, near Liverpool Street station.
The Associate Quantity Surveyor will be offered hybrid working.
The Company
The Associate Quantity Surveyor will be joining a long-standing consultancy who are looking to grow their Quantity Surveying team. You would be joining an ambitious Quantity Surveying team of 10 Quantity Surveyors in London.
As a company they work on Commercial Fit out Projects and New Build projects within the Residential, Hotels and Hospitality sectors. The Associate surveyor will come in run Commercial Fit out projects within the Commercial QS team.
The role of the Associate Quantity Surveyor
The Associate Quantity Surveyor will come in and take responsibility on leading projects and developing junior staff, with a progression pathway in sight, within the company.
As the Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will need to produce cost plans, advise on cost options, produce tender documents, contract administration and Employer's Agent service and negotiate and agree interim valuations, variations and final accounts.
The Associate Quantity Surveyor
- BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
- Ideally experience working on Commercial Projects
- MRICS or currently working towards
- Experience within a private practice / consultancy
- Strong Pre and post contract knowledge
- Excellent attitude and team player
- Able to support with mentoring junior colleagues
