A well-established scaffolding contractor is looking to appoint an experiencedScaffolding Estimatorto join the team. The role is flexible in location, operating between London and Essex depending on your base.

The Role:

As a dedicated Scaffolding Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate, detailed, and competitive tenders for scaffolding works across a range of projects. The successful candidate will bring proven experience in scaffolding estimating and a strong understanding of industry standards and pricing structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for scaffolding projects

• Interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

• Conduct site visits to assess requirements and gather information

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth estimating and handover processes

• Prepare bills of quantities and cost plans

• Produce clear and concise bid proposals and tender submissions

• Track and manage tender returns and feedback

• Assist with project handovers to operational teams

• Maintain knowledge of market trends, pricing, and materials in the scaffolding industry

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in scaffolding estimating

• Must have worked for a scaffolding contractor

• Broad knowledge of the scaffolding industry, systems, and regulations

• Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software

• Full UK driving licence
