A progressive studio specialising in engineered timber structures is seeking a confident and technically proficient Project Manager to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work on award-winning, sustainability-focused projects across a variety of sectors, collaborating with top-tier architects, consultants, and contractors.
You’ll play a central role in driving project delivery from early design through to on-site execution, acting as the key link between clients, design teams, production teams, and site managers.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect or experienced construction project manager, with a strong grasp of the RIBA Plan of Work, UK building regulations, and mass timber methodologies. Excellent communication skills, technical confidence, and experience with British contracts are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the successful delivery of timber construction projects from early design through to on-site completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget.
Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment across teams.
Coordinate internal resources and third-party consultants, suppliers, and site teams to ensure clear communication, efficient workflows, and high-quality execution.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and respond to changes in scope, schedule, or cost using structured project management tools and techniques.
Oversee contractual processes, including payment applications and reporting, in collaboration with finance and commercial teams.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and deliver clear, engaging presentations and CPDs to clients, design teams, and public/private bodies.
