THE COMPANY

One of the UK’s largest independent Property Consultancies is actively recruiting for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their established London office, supporting a growing portfolio of Education sector projects.

The client is a leading Consultancy with a strong national and international presence. They have built an exceptional reputation for delivering high-quality, client-focused services and are currently involved in some of London’s most exciting Education developments. These include new schools, university campuses, research facilities, and specialist learning environments for both public and private sector clients. Project values typically range from £5 million to multi-billion-pound schemes.

THE POSITION

They are seeking to recruit several Intermediate Quantity Surveyors to take full responsibility for managing Education sector projects from inception through to completion. The successful Quantity Surveyor will have the opportunity to lead key client relationships and play a central role in shaping the future of educational infrastructure across London and the wider UK.

Typical project values range between £1 million and £20 million. While the immediate focus is on Schools, Colleges, and Higher Education facilities, there will also be opportunities to gain experience in other areas such as Health, Residential, Commercial, and Leisure sectors.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful Quantity Surveyor must:

  • Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying

  • Have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a Consultancy / PQS environment

  • Have experience delivering projects within the Property / Building sectors

  • Ideally have experience working on Education or related Public Sector projects

  • Be confident managing projects from inception to completion

  • Possess excellent communication and client-facing skills
