4Site Recruitment are curently seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a the commercial team of a prestigious main contractor specialising in luxury residential construction across prime London postcodes. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their QS career—whether you’ve got a couple of years’ experience under your belt or are currently studying and looking for a contractor who will support your professional development. Based in Central London, you’ll be working across high-spec projects, managing your own smaller packages whilst reporting to the Commercial Director. 

The role is ideal for someone who is eager to grow within a company long-term and looking to develop a career in a supportive, close-knit team that values commitment and initiative.

The Role:

  • Assisting with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers

  • Preparing tender documentation and analysing quotations

  • Supporting with cost planning, valuations and variations

  • Monitoring project budgets and reporting on cost performance

  • Assisting in contract administration and ensuring compliance

  • Attending site visits and progress meetings as needed

  • Liaising with site teams and clients to maintain project delivery standards

  • Use of Excel and Bluebeam (no prior experience required—training provided)

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–3 years' experience in quantity surveying (residential or commercial)

  • No formal qualifications required—open to those currently studying

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude

  • Eagerness to grow professionally and take on more responsibility over time

Details:

  • Start: ASAP

  • Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

  • Location: Office-based in Central London + occassional site visits
