Scaffolding Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a market leading Scaffolding Contractor based in the South East, specialising in commercial  scaffolding. They are growing their commercial division and due to this growth, they are in need of an experienced Quantity Surveyor who has had Sub contracting experience.

Our client is a reputable contractor who specialise in Commercial scaffolding. They have a large list of reputable clients with whom they have worked for over the years. Because of their reputation they tend to win a lot of work with existing and new clients.

About the role

  • Compile and submit monthly valuations to clients
  • Run all aspects of commercial management from project commencement to Final Account
  • Confident, client facing, good communicator and ambitious
  • Agreement of variations / final account with client Quantity Surveyor
  • Preparation of budgets & forecasts
  • Monthly costs and valuations
  • Attendance at site progress / contract review meetings
  • Preparation and submission of monthly valuations

About the candidate

  • Professional approach and high level of discretion
  • Experience within the Scaffolding industry is essential
  • Final account experience desirable
  • Quantity Surveying degree desirable but experience would be considered
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Scaffolding experience would be desirable
