Job Details:
- Join a dynamic commercial team working closely with an estimator and a senior QS/commercial manager
- Engage in diverse projects across the UK, covering a variety of industrial and commercial sectors
- Take responsibility for the preparation and management of accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports
- Oversee procurement processes, including the negotiation and administration of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their requirements are met and exceeded
- Conduct site visits as required to oversee project progress and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, costs, and performance for senior management review
Key Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience, ideally with a subcontractor in the building envelope sector
- Strong industrial experience
- Must be able to showcase and provide a reference who can advocate; you as someone who is proactive, driven, eager to learn, initiativetaking, and personable
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with construction contracts and relevant legislation
