Description
- Lead and manage all cost-related aspects of the construction process.
- Ensure that projects are completed within the agreed budget and time frame.
- Maintain a strong relationship with clients and suppliers.
- Prepare and submit financial reports on project progress.
- Identify and manage potential risks to the successful completion of the project.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure project success.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and regulations.
- Provide expert advice on cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
Profile
A successful QS should have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience working within the property industry.
- Knowledge of construction contracts and cost management processes.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- An ability to work effectively within a team.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
