This hybrid role is based out of the company's Barking office, with a 3/2 split between office and remote work.
About the role of Quantity Surveyor
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be supporting the commercial management of complex infrastructure projects in the energy sector. Working closely with project and senior commercial leads, you'll assist with the day-to-day financial administration of works under both NEC and JCT contracts. This is a great opportunity to develop your expertise on technically challenging schemes in a fast-growing sector.
Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor
- Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets and forecasts
- Support the administration of NEC and JCT contracts
- Work on valuations, variations, payments, and cost reporting
- Liaise with site teams, clients, and subcontractors
- Contribute to risk management and value engineering efforts
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor
- Experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, preferably within the power, infrastructure, or data centre sectors
- Good working knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and support larger project teams
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (or equivalent experience)
