About the role of Quantity Surveyor

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Tier 1 Main contractors who are thriving in the construction industry and have a turnover of over 1bn. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for preparing budget and cost estimations on a residential project valued up to 200m. You will be joining their major projects division and be based on site 5 days a week after PCSA. This an ideal opportunity for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is ready to take the next step in their career or a Quantity Surveyor aiming to progress their career with a successful Main Contractor

Key Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor:

Monitoring actual expenses against budget plans while reporting significant price fluctuations and preparing monthly cash flow forecasts
Liaising with customers and third parties on all commercial matters after preparing and agreeing on any necessary claims for reimbursements and loss or expenses
Negotiating contracts and writing reports detailing costs resulting in your ability to give advice to the team

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:
