About the role of Quantity Surveyor:
Exciting opportunity for an ambitious mid-level quantity surveyor to join one of the UK's leading fit out contractors. You will be joining a new division focused on commercial fit out projects with values between 10 and 50 million. Working closely alongside the contracts manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects all the way through to final accounts and be heavily involved in the procurement process.
Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor:
* Overseeing multiple projects at a time, with values ranging from 10 million to 50 million.
* Procurement across all sub-contracting accounts.
* Tendering and procurement of new projects.
* Pricing and managing change/variations.
* Site Meetings.
* Working through from first stage tender process, all the way through to completion and final accounts.
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:
* 5 years' experience within a construction quantity surveying position with a developer, main or fit out contractor.
* Experience on commercial CAT A and CAT B fit out projects ideal.
* Quantity surveying degree or a similar construction-based qualification.
* Good communication and inter-personal skills.
* Ambitious, strong willed, personable and confident in their role.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with co-workers and management.
