4Site are seeking a young and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our client – a high-end residential design and build contractor – as part of their growing team. With their office and projects located in the heart of Central London, this is an excellent opportunity for a QS with 3–5 years’ experience who’s ready to take on a more autonomous role. The successful candidate will manage multiple luxury residential refurbishment projects while working within a dynamic, forward-thinking environment that values growth, innovation, and collaboration.

The Role:
  • Oversee the full commercial lifecycle of 2 major projects or 3 smaller schemes simultaneously

  • Support the team with tenders and pre-construction activities

  • Ideally have project management experience to assist in delivering jobs from start to finish (not essential but highly valued)

  • Travel between the office and sites (typically 3–4 days/week in London, with flexibility to work from home on other days)

  • Potential to expand responsibilities into project management on a case-by-case basis

Ideal Candidate:
  • 3–5 years’ experience in quantity surveying, ideally within the high-end residential refurbishment sector

  • Confident managing projects independently and running the commercial side of jobs from start to finish

  • Ideally with experience managing both the commercial and delivery side of residential projects

  • Strong multitasker – comfortable juggling live projects while tendering for upcoming work

  • Innovative, proactive and open to helping implement or suggest systems/process improvements
