Quantity Surveyor - Marylebone Office

Location:

Marylebone, Central London (office-based role with some site visits)

Role:Quantity Surveyor within a growing commercial team, working across high-quality new build PBSA (student accommodation) and luxury hotel schemes

Salary:£60,000 - £90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cost planning and pre-acquisition assessments

  • Prepare feasibility studies, benchmarking and early budgets

  • Produce and manage elemental cost plans (RIBA Stages 1-4)

  • Advise design team on cost implications and value engineering

  • Manage procurement strategy and tender processes

  • Evaluate and negotiate contractor and consultant packages

  • Use Bluebeam (or similar) for measurement and take-offs

  • Oversee live site delivery from a commercial perspective

  • Monitor budgets, process valuations, and manage variations

  • Maintain cost reports, forecast cashflows, and support funding drawdowns

  • Liaise across development, construction, and delivery functions

  • Support contract admin and final account processes

  • Engage in commercial decisions that impact the wider project lifecycle
