The Company
Our client, a main building contractor, is seeking an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their team who deliver multi-million-pound schemes in some of the most sought-after parts of London. This exclusive project is a high-end residential development.

The successful candidate will be joining a company that has demonstrated excellent longevity in the industry and growth over the last 5 years. Our client specialises in super prime residential developments, galleries, and commercial projects, representing high-net-worth clients and creating some of the most luxurious spaces in the market.
  
Main Responsibilities as the Quantity Surveyor:
  • Manage the quantity surveying responsibilities across selected projects, ensuring accurate cost control and commercial management.
  • Provide cost referencing and monthly reports to senior management
  • Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to optimise value and ensure budget adherence.
  • Support procurement, contract administration, and risk management processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction costs, especially related to heritage and listed building projects.
  • Liaise regularly with clients and stakeholders to meet commercial and contractual requirements.
Education / Experience Needed for the Quantity Surveyor:
  • Degree, HNC or HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related discipline is essential.
  • Proven experience in quantity surveying within refurbishment, heritage, and listed building projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and cost controls effectively.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated longevity and reliability in previous roles.
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working mainly in an office environment with regular site visits across Central London.
