Our client, a well-established contractor with a strong reputation across London, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. With a significant increase in secured work, this office-based role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a range of projects, with site visits required as needed.

Quantity Surveyor - Benefits

Quantity Surveyor - Role Overview

  • Managing logistics costs across a diverse range of projects, including residential developments, sports facilities, highways, bridges, schools, hospitals, offices, and industrial buildings, as assigned by the line manager.
  • Conducting cost analysis for both construction and logistics activities.
  • Supporting the establishment of client requirements and contributing to feasibility studies.
  • Assisting in risk assessment, value management, and cost control measures.
  • Helping prepare tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantities.
  • Identifying, analysing, and assisting in developing strategies to manage commercial risks.
  • Supporting the preparation and evaluation of tender costings.

Quantity Surveyor - Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Logistics experience advantageous
  • Subcontracting background advantageous
  • Construction Knowledge
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Good organisational and time management abilities
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites when needed
