Quantity Surveyor - London
I am working with a well-established and leading Quantity Surveying consultancy who are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their team. The Quantity Surveyor will be based in Central London, Holborn.
The Quantity Surveyor will be offered Hybrid working.
The Company
The Quantity Surveyor will be joining a forward-thinking construction consultancy who are looking to grow their team, as they have a strong pipeline of work for the next year. Even though this is a large company, you would be joining a small but hard-working team of 10 Quantity Surveyors.
As a company they cover a range of sectors including Commercial, Residential, Education, Industrial, Leisure, Mixed Use and Retail. But the Quantity Surveyor teams bread and butter is Commercial projects who collaborate with an impressive national client base.
The role of the Quantity Surveyor
The Quantity Surveyor will come in and developing junior staff, with a progression pathway in sight to Senior Quantity Surveyor, within the company.
As the Quantity Surveyor, you will need to produce cost plans, advise on cost options, produce tender documents, contract administration and Employer's Agent service and negotiate and agree interim valuations, variations and final accounts.
The Quantity Surveyor
- BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
- MRICS or currently working towards
- Experience within a private practice / consultancy
- Strong Pre and post contract knowledge
- Excellent attitude and team player
- Able to support with mentoring junior colleagues
