The Role - Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic commercial team. You’ll be working on high-profile cut and carve, structural refurbishment, and CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects ranging in value up to £60m.
This is a site-based role, offering the opportunity to be hands-on with live projects as a Quantity Surveyor and collaborate closely with delivery teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial aspects of assigned projects from procurement to final account.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
- Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiation and contract administration.
- Conduct valuations, variations and payment applications.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
- Support project teams with cost advice and risk management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Strong background in cut & carve, refurbishment and fit-out projects.
- Excellent understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
