Location: London Docklands (2-3 days per week on-site)
Contract: Permanent

We're seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Executive QS to join a high-voltage energy infrastructure project in London Docklands. This is an excellent opportunity for a QS with NEC4 experience who wants to work on a high-profile utility project, supporting both commercial management and delivery oversight.
You will work closely with the project team, providing commercial leadership, managing supply chain engagement, and ensuring robust reporting and change control processes. This role requires a hands-on approach and offers exposure to contractor-side delivery on a technically challenging HV energy scheme.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
路Full commercial management of the assigned HV energy works
路NEC4 contract administration, including change control, compensation events, and claims
路Managing supply chain performance, subcontract procurement, and interim valuations
路Producing monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs), forecasts, and financial reports
路Liaising with contractors, project managers, and internal teams to support delivery
路Providing proactive commercial advice to mitigate risks and optimise outcomes
路Supporting decision-making with accurate and timely reporting
About You
The ideal candidate will have a solid civil/electrical infrastructure background with strong NEC4 experience and exposure to contractor-side delivery.
路Proven experience with NEC4 contracts
路HV energy or utility project experience highly desirable
路Experience with supply chain management, procurement, CVRs, and reporting
路Strong understanding of change control and compensation events
路Excellent commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills
路Ability to work on-site 2-3 days per week in London Docklands
路Relevant QS qualification or equivalent experience
