Quantity Surveyor - Residential, Commercial & Hotels

A growing and dynamic construction consultancy in Central London is currently seeking an ambitious and confident Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. This is a unique client-facing opportunity to gain hands-on exposure across a range of residential, commercial, and hotel projects, with full support available for APC progression.

The consultancy operates with a start-up mindset, offering the structure to learn properly while being small and agile enough to allow individuals to make a real impact. With a strong pipeline of London-based work, they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who is ready to step into a broad and fast-paced role that will accelerate their professional development.

This Quantity Surveyor position will suit someone who is proactive, commercially aware, and eager to take ownership of their work. You'll be directly involved in cost planning, change control, and procurement while working closely with senior professionals in a collaborative team environment.

Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, manage, and update cost plans and estimates across a diverse project portfolio
  • Produce and maintain accurate cost reports for client presentation
  • Support change management, contract administration, and cost forecasting
  • Lead on contractor and subcontractor procurement, including tender analysis and recommendation
  • Attend client meetings and provide commercially sound advice across all project stages

Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements

  • 4+ years' Quantity Surveying experience within a consultancy environment
  • Exposure to residential, commercial, or hotel projects
  • Strong communication skills with a confident, client-facing approach
  • Ideally MRICS
  • Pre and post contract experience
  • Willingness to work towards APC (support provided)
