The successful Quantity Surveyor will play a key role on diverse projects, delivering excellent cost consultancy services from feasibility through to final account.

Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cost planning, procurement, and pre/post-contract services on live projects
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender documents, and financial reports
  • Lead contract administration using JCT and NEC forms
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to maintain clear communication
  • Conduct valuations, assess variations, and support dispute resolution
  • Support junior colleagues and contribute to team culture and technical delivery

Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in a consultancy or client-side environment
  • RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Solid knowledge of procurement, cost management, and contract admin
  • Comfortable working across a range of sectors (public/private infrastructure, commercial etc.)
  • Strong communicator, client-facing, and highly organised
  • On the APC pathway or recently chartered
