Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing
Location: Wimbledon (Flexible Working Available)
Rate: Up to £320 per day
Contract: Ongoing Freelance Opportunity

We’re working in partnership with a reputable and well-established property services contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor for projects in the social housing sector. Based in Wimbledon, with the option for flexible working, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS to join a supportive and professional commercial team on a contract basis.

• Managing the tendering process for new works

• Preparing and managing CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations)

• Producing accurate end-of-month commercial reports

• Handling final accounts and ensuring timely settlement

• Supporting project teams with cost advice and contractual guidance

• Ensuring commercial control of subcontract packages and variations

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within social housing, property services, or maintenance/repairs environments

• Strong understanding of commercial procedures and financial reporting

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Comfortable working with NEC or JCT contracts (preferred but not essential)

• Day rate up to £320 per day

• Flexible/hybrid working arrangements
