An up-and-coming cost and project management consultancy are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work on various projects up to 200M, from concept to completion, contributing to both pre- and post-contract duties.

The Company

This Quantity Surveying practice are a hands-on and dynamic consultancy who have a drive for growth over the next year or so as they have a strong pipeline of work. Currently a team of 6 people made up of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers.

The company are an advocate for Remote working as they have projects all over England and even globally, so this is what works for them, with in person team meetings in London every 2 weeks plus seeing each other on site multiple times a week.

Quantity Surveyor Role

The Quantity Surveyor will be working on a range of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Industrial, Leisure, Commercial and Residential.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will manage projects throughout their lifecycle, undertaking both pre and post-contract duties. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure project success and maintain a high standard of delivery.

You will be responsible for:

  • Running projects from concept to completion
  • Pre and post contract management
  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders
  • Producing cost estimates and reports
  • Advising on procurement strategies
  • Managing project budgets and timeline

The Quantity Surveyor Requirements

  • BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
  • MRICS or currently working towards it
  • Experience within a private practice/consultancy
  • Strong pre and post contract knowledge
