About the role of Quantity Surveyor
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining the commercial team at a Tier 1 Main Contractor on a project in Central London. The project is a high-rise residential project valued around 50m. They are looking for a hard-working Quantity Surveyor to assist a Senior Quantity Surveyor 5 days on site. This is a great company to be in with as they are dominating the London Construction market. They are known for progressing staff through the ranks based on competency rather than longevity so, they provide a path for career progression.
Key Responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor:
- Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor on all commercial opportunities
- Looking after Subcontractor packages and managing the whole downstream process
- Liaising with customers and third parties on all commercial matter
- Negotiating contracts and writing reports detailing costs resulting in your ability to give advice to the team
Key Requirements of Quantity Surveyor:
- Experience at a Main Contractor on residential projects
- Degree in a construction related subject is ideal but not essential
- Live within commutable distance to Central London
