About the role of Quantity Surveyor:
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be a lead on a hospital project valued at approx. 10m based in East London. You would be joining a Tier 1 Main Contractor who have an excellent industry reputation and rarely hire for this team so this is a great opportunity. You will be predominately site based with office visits plus WFH. The majority of their projects are based across North London. With a company annual turnover of over 2bn, their divisions run as separate entities so it still has a smaller/regional business feel with access to the management team.
Key Responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor:
- Feeding in to CVRs
- Carry out cash flow reporting
- Manage forecasts and ensure all valuations are submitted by the deadline
- Final Accounts
- Managing the upstream and downstream process
Key Requirements of Quantity Surveyor:
- Degree in a construction related subject is ideal but not essential
- Experience leading projects 5m+ at a Main Contractor
- Ideally knowledge of NEC contracts
- Live within commutable distance to North/East London
