This is a hybrid working role.
The Role
- Reporting to an Associate Directorresponsibilities will include:
- Providing high calibre claims consultancy and / or expert witness services on variety of construction claims
- Providing technical and contractual advice
- Preparation of final accounts to adjudication standard
- Calculations of damages incurred due to delays / breech of contracts
- Representing or defence in formal proceedings including adjudication and mediation
- Taking personal responsibility for delivering commissions independently within timelines and of the highest standard
Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying or Construction Law and will be able to demonstrate no less than five years Quantity Surveying experience.
Suitable Quantity Surveyors will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience in procurement managment strategy, and contract administration
- Extensive knowledge of the standard form of contracts comprising the NEC, JCT
- Experience in the development of claim and dispute resolution strategies
- First class communication and presentation skills
- Flexible approach with the ability to work on multiple assignments
