Senior Quantity Surveyor - Permanent - Up to 75,000 + Package
Location: West London

We are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor delivering a major design and build infrastructure scheme in West London. This is a high-profile, multi-million-pound utilities project forming part of a wider long-term framework with one of the UK's largest utility providers.



The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of the project, overseeing costs, contract compliance, and subcontractor performance under NEC Options A & E. You will work closely with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of the scheme within budget and contractual obligations.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all commercial aspects of the project lifecycle

  • Administer NEC contracts (Options A & E)

  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments

  • Provide accurate cost reporting and forecasting

  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and risk management processes

  • Work closely with operational teams and client representatives



Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering or infrastructure projects

  • Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract, particularly Options A & E

  • Experience working on utilities, water, or process engineering projects would be advantageous

  • Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple work packages and meet programme targets
