I have an exciting opportunity with a forward thinking and modern construction consultancy for an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in London.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be offered hybrid working.

The Company

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a medium sized consultancy based in central London. They are currently a team of 60 Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and Building Surveyors but are looking to grow their Quantity Surveying team this year.

The company are known for working on Residential projects, but they also work on Industrial, Commercial and Hotel projects.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will initially come in and deliver Residential and Hotel projects both new build and refurbishments.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing the whole lifecycle of the project, from concept to completion. You will be undertaking pre contract duties including Cost planning, estimating, feasibility studies, tender documentation and procurement advice. You will also be undertaking post contract duties including valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be leading the High-End Residential Projects with the support from a partner when needed and will have an Assistant/Trainee below them, who they will need to support and mentor.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor Requirements

• BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
• Preferably MRICS
• Experience on High End Residential Projects
• Experience within a private practice / consultancy
• Strong Pre and post contract knowledge
