A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Main Contractor on a prestigious 60 million residential development.

You will play a key role, reporting directly to the Commercial Director, and will be instrumental in the successful financial delivery of a high-profile, multi-phase residential scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all commercial aspects of the project from inception through to final account.

  • Oversee cost control, procurement, and subcontractor management.

  • Provide accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to the Commercial Director.

  • Ensure all commercial procedures are followed in line with company standards.

  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a main contractor on large-scale residential developments.

  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage complex project demands.

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field (or equivalent experience).
