Senior Quantity Surveyor – Major Residential Development – East London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading developer delivering a flagship multi-phase residential scheme in East London. This is a high-profile project forming part of one of London’s most ambitious regeneration developments offering long-term career potential and the chance to be involved from early stages through to delivery.

The Role:
You’ll play a key role in managing the financial performance of the project, overseeing procurement, cost planning, and subcontractor management. Working closely with the commercial and project teams, you’ll ensure smooth delivery across all stages while maintaining the highest standards of quality and value.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all commercial and cost management activities across your phase of the project

  • Manage procurement strategies and subcontractor packages

  • Prepare valuations, cost reports, and forecasts

  • Contribute to design development and value engineering

  • Support junior team members and liaise closely with project and site management teams

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior QS on large-scale residential developments
