Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: London
Salary: 90,000 - 120,000 + Car Allowance, Pension, Life Assurance, and Competitive Annual Leave
Fawkes & Reece is working in partnership with a long-established subcontractor to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a portfolio of sites in and around London.
Company Overview:
With over 30 years of industry expertise, our client is a well-respected Groundworks and RC Frame subcontractor, delivering high-quality services including earthworks, bulk excavation, and infrastructure projects. Their client base consists primarily of longstanding residential developers with relationships built over decades.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial success of each project. Your key duties will include:
- Managing and overseeing multiple projects across London
- Providing commercial advice and support to the Senior Management Team on bid strategies and risk
- Collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors to develop accurate cost estimates
- Leading the estimation process and supporting junior team members
- Attending and presenting at tender interviews
Key Requirements:
- Strong commercial acumen and risk awareness
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach
