About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor
Fawkes and Reece are assisting a well established, privately owned main contractor with over 65 years of industry experience, delivering high-quality fit out, refurbishment, and cut&carve projects across London. With a turnover of 150 m - 160m and a reputation for excellence, the clients they have worked for include names like Landsec, Nestle, Debenhams and Merlin Entertainment. The contractor spans multiple projects with projects typically ranging from 5m - 35m in value.
Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor:
- Commercial management fit - out and refurbishment projects across London
- Cost planning, Procurement, contract administration, and value engineering
- Managing subcontractors and supplier relationships
- Supporting junior team members and collaborating closely with project leads
- working within a knowledgeable, close knit team where you'll be supported to thrive
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:
- Experience on Cat A/B, refurbishment or cut and carve projects
- Strong understanding of two-stage tender processes
- Commercial awareness, attention to detail, and managing your own packages
- Ambition to progress - many of the team have risen through the ranks
