Senior Quantity Surveyor
A principal contractor with an impeccable reputation is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The company specialises in delivering complex, high-value construction projects ranging from 45m to 150m, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use schemes.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced QS who's looking to step into a senior role with more responsibility, or for someone already operating at that level who's keen to work on flagship projects with a well-respected contractor.
You'll be commercially responsible for your own project or for packages across multiple, reporting directly to a Commercial Director. The role offers a high level of autonomy while still being part of a collaborative and well-supported team.
What they're looking for:
- Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS, ideally with a principal contractor, consultancy, or subcontractor.
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, including managing subcontractors, variations, valuations, and cost reporting
- Experience on large-scale projects (ideally 40m+)
- A proactive, detail-focused approach with excellent communication skills
- Degree qualified (or equivalent experience); professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB, etc.) is an advantage
