Senior Quantity Surveyor required to work for Principal Contractor JV on the High Speed Rail Main Works Civils Programme.

Contract - Inside IR35
Based at North Acton or Euston - Hybrid Working Arrangements in place

Senior QS with strong NEC Contracts experience and similar Major Infrastructure Projects experience.

Previous experience with take-off of quantities from drawings, remeasure scope and update existing Bill of Quantities.

Role Brief:
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead on various aspects of remeasuring the works in accordance with the given subcontract.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you may be required to get involved with other change management (apart from only design), the management of subcontracts and of project insurances and notification of claims - Sub-contract Enquiries - Tender Appraisal - Sub-contract negotiation - Project Evaluation - Measurement of the Works - Sub-contract Management - commercial risk and opportunity management, preparation and agreement of Applications and progress reporting.

Skills/Experience:
-Degree or equivalent level qualification in Quantity Surveying or related construction subject
-Strong Problem Solving Can-Do Approach - preferably change management experience
-Very Good Knowledge in Microsoft Excel
-Experience in Design and Rail or Infrastructure projects
-Preferably qualified to ICES or RICS accreditation and Relevant CSCS Card
