Responsibilities
- Pulling and laying cables in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with team members to complete tasks within set deadlines.
- Inspecting and maintaining tools and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Reporting any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.
- Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in cable pulling or a similar role is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices in a rail environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Arrive on-site punctually and attend daily briefings.
- Perform cable pulling tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within the allocated time frame.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
