Railway Telecoms Technicians needed to join long term installation project on the London Underground
Key Responsibilities:
- Terminate and test, including using a DX Fluke Tester.
- Splice and test fibre
- Dress racks neatly.
- Installation, Termination and Testing of CAT6A.
- Installation, Termination & Testing of Antennas & Racks, cabling and Equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in the rail communications industry with hands-on site work
- Mandatory possession of CSCS or ECS card
- Qualified with LU/ICI, DBS, & Asbestos Awareness (all mandatory)
- Holding QUAF ERA and/or Lift & Escalator qualification
- Face Fit certification or proof is required
- Preferred additional training in First Aid and PASMA
Further Details:
- Shift hours are from 23:45 PM to 04:45 AM, Sunday to Thursday, working approximately from 00:30 AM to 04:30 AM
- Ongoing project work until the end of 2026, with continuity based on performance
- Opportunity to move in to SPC role for right candidates if hold SSSTS. Must hold an ECS skills card tor Telecoms qualifications.
