Dove & Hawk are now partnered with the primary agency working in one of the most sought-after developments in London - Battersea Power Station. They are looking for Lettings Associate to join their growing team.The successful candidate will support the growth of the lettings department by delivering exceptional customer service to applicants, tenants, landlords, and internal teams. They will help ensure the delivery of a highly professional lettings service and contribute to the agency's ongoing success.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Bonus: A discretionary annual bonus of up to 25% of base salary
  • Pension: Employer contribution of 10% of salary into the company pension scheme
  • Private Healthcare: Individual participation in a private healthcare scheme
  • Group Insurances: Provided
  • Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per year, increasing with length of service to a maximum of 28 days after three years (excluding Bank Holidays)
  • Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, 1-in-3 Saturdays 10am-4pm (day-off in lieu)

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and surpass lettings targets while maintaining high customer service standards
  • Assist the Lettings Manager in assessing rental values
  • Aid in the marketing and promotion of properties to let, ensuring regular communication with landlords and potential tenants
  • Represent landlords during negotiations with prospective tenants
  • Monitor and manage offers as they progress, liaising with all relevant parties
  • Match applicant requirements with available properties
  • Schedule and conduct viewings, including communal areas
  • Secure mutually agreeable terms for both landlord and tenant
  • Remain informed of local residential market trends and pricing
  • Support the Lettings Manager in updating procedures in line with best practices, company policy, and current legislation
  • Carry out Right to Rent checks, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks, and Customer Due Diligence (CDD)

Company & Market KnowledgeThe ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of:

  • Their ownership structure and long-term vision
  • Each development phase, including property specifications, interior design, and on-site amenities
  • The Vauxhall, Nine Elms, and Battersea Opportunity Area
  • Competing developments and the resale market in the surrounding area and Greater London

Candidate Requirements

  • Ideally 1-2 years' experience within the London lettings market
  • A proven ability to work effectively within a team
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding lettings targets, particularly in Central London
  • A strong desire to work in a high-profile, fast-paced property development environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and hardworking
  • Professional, personable, and well-organised with a strong work ethic
  • Previous experience with large corporate companies (preferred)
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • A collaborative mindset and effective communication skills
