Responsibilities

Overseeing the day-to-day management issues concerning the properties in the portfolio

Managing Landlord and Tenant relations

Be the main point of contact for clients, leaseholders and tenants, addressing their queries/requests in a timely and professional manner

Coordinating maintenance and repairs

Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Have a good understanding of the various Health & Safety (including fire safety) requirements and to be up to date with all current legislation

Being able to read and understand leases and legal documentation

Attending tenant meetings and Annual General Meetings (AGM) as and when required.

Being able to use the property management software. Experience of the Re-leased software is not essential as training can be provided.

To have a good accounting knowledge including setting budgets (alongside the accounts team)

Essential Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years + experience in Commercial Block Management

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English language skills, including grammar and spelling, with keen attention to detail)

Able to always act professionally

Good work ethic

Good time management

Good telephone manner

Must be computer literate and able to use MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) efficiently

Maintain strict confidentiality

Ability to work on your own initiative

To be a team player
