About the clientThe Management Recruitment Group is seeking an Interim Property Manager for a prestigious University in London.

Accountabilities

  • Oversee strategic and operational management of this University’s property portfolio
  • Supervision of freehold and leasehold properties comprising of operational buildings, offices, retail and residential asset classes
  • Deliver expertise in landlord and tenant management, leasing, planning, service charge and legal matters, while driving income generation, ensuring compliance, and adopting best practices
  • Management of external agents and contractors as well as liaise with academic staff

Candidate Requirements

  • MRICS qualified with 5-years post qualification experience
  • Able to start at short notice
  • Willing to travel to London as required
  • Experience in the management of property/estates in a complex environment
  • Preferably client-side experience within the public sector
  • Experience of engagement with tenants, landlords, public bodies, and communities
  • Experience of evaluating development opportunities
  • Up-to-date knowledge of statutory regulations and best practice in relation to the management of estates and property
