Role: Senior Property Consultant
Reportsto: Head of Lettings
Location: Office in London, W10 - covering all of London
Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm, NO WEEKENDS
Structure: Mixture of office & field based
Salary: Up to £25,000 basic OTE £40,000 commission (uncapped)
Car allowance (inc. fuel): £5,100 per annum in addition to salary
Total package: £70,000 OTE
JOB SUMMARY
- Visiting both current and prospective landlords/agents in person to create long term partnerships
- Identifying and sourcing new properties for rent via Rightmove/Zoopla/various property search platforms
- Outbound calls to potential new clients and existing clients to generate new business and maintain existing relationships
- Booking viewing appraisals with potential landlords/agents
- Carrying out viewing appraisals of properties and representing Apex as a corporate tenant to landlords and agents
- Assessing property condition, minimum standards, suitability and price margin to decide if suitable to progress with a deal
- Negotiating and agreeing tenancy agreements on behalf of Apex
- Liaising with the property management team to prepare and onboard new properties
- Building and maintaining client relationships with all landlords and agents for repeat business
- Ensuring compliance obligations are met
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a lettings /property sales /property role
- Be comfortable visiting prospective landlords/agents in person daily
- Be comfortable making outbound phone calls a day to prospective landlords/agents
- Have natural sales ability
- Have exceptional customer service skills
- Be a good communicator
- Have confidence to negotiate effectively
- Be KPI driven
- Be willing to travel across London when required for property visits / appraisals
- A car with business insurance
