Working Days and Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours a week).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will be expected to answer and make around 30 to 50 inbound and outbound calls per day. The suitable candidate may need deal with people that could be on occasions a bit rude.
  • Candidate will mainly be required to cover the Clinics switchboard and reception.

Duties:

  • To act as the first line of contact for our clients service on the phone and in person (where relevant)
  • To provide a high-quality switchboard and reception service to all callers, visitors, patients and staff
  • Meeting and greeting patients, their families, and visitors
  • To ensure that all Trust users receive an efficient, polite, and helpful response at all times
  • To work with the Service Administrators to help ensure the smooth running of the clients bases
  • Entering appointments and outcomes on to the Trusts database

Skills & Experience:

  • GCSE English and Maths at GradeCoraboveorequivalent
  • ECDL qualification or equivalent in computer training
  • Ability to enter data accurately
  • Knowledge of administrative processes and systems (eg answering queries, etc).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good standard of typing skills.
  • Ability to converse with patients by telephone with tact and sensitivity
  • Ability to cope under pressure and in an environment that can be disruptive
  • Understanding of equal opportunities
