Were looking for a dynamic People & Culture Manager to lead the development of a thriving, values-driven workplace. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the people strategy, drive engagement, and embed a culture of belonging across the organisation.
Youll play a pivotal role in building the organisations people capability, from recruitment and development to wellbeing, inclusion, and culture.
Reporting to the Managing Director, managing one direct report and working closely with the senior leadership team, youll help create a workplace where every individual can grow and contribute their best.
Key responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
Develop and deliver a people and culture strategy aligned with the organisations purpose and business goals.
Provide strategic insights and data-led recommendations on workforce trends and performance.
Partner with leadership to integrate people and culture considerations into all aspects of planning and decision-making.
Culture & Organisational Development
Act as a champion for organisational culture and values.
Design and implement initiatives that enhance engagement, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Lead internal communications and engagement strategies in collaboration with key teams.
Oversee Diversity & Inclusion, Sustainability, and Wellbeing initiatives.
Talent Management
Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
Develop engaging role profiles and innovative attraction methods to showcase the employee value proposition.
Build robust induction and onboarding experiences that set new hires up for success.
Drive ongoing training, career development, and succession planning initiatives.
Performance, Reward & Recognition
Lead the development and maintenance of transparent performance review and reward systems.
Oversee market benchmarking, remuneration reviews, and benefits strategy.
Enhance employee engagement through financial and non-financial recognition programs.
Learning & Development
Create and manage an annual learning program linked to business and individual goals.
Build leadership capability across all levels through development frameworks and coaching culture.
Risk & Compliance
Ensure compliance with employment law, governance policies, and best-practice HR standards.
Manage people-related risk through proactive policy design and responsive issue resolution.
What we are looking for
Essential
Passionate about creating inclusive, empowering, and values-led workplaces.
Proven experience in a generalist People or HR leadership role.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels and drive strategic initiatives.
A collaborative team player who brings energy, empathy, and integrity to everything they do.
Desirable
Experience in growing organisations within hospitality, media, or retail sectors.
Track record of success in shaping culture and developing people strategy in fast-paced environments.
