We are currently seeking an experienced and confident Occupational Therapist to join a supportive Adult Social Care team in a Duty OT role. This is a hybrid position with a strong focus on staff wellbeing, a manageable caseload, and free in-house training offered to locum workers. The team is known for its positive culture, with several locums having remained for 3+ years.
Role Overview:

Office/remote-based duty role

Screening incoming OT referrals via initial telephone assessments

Ordering minor equipment following screening where appropriate (e.g. toilet frames, commodes)

Assessing risk and identifying needs through phone-based contact

No routine home visits required, though occasional visits may be necessary if short staffed
What We're Looking For:

Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience

Recent experience in adult social services (essential)

Previous duty OT experience (essential)

Strong clinical reasoning and confident in managing telephone-based assessments

Ability to work independently and manage a busy duty rota
