Our client is a leading full-service law firm with a market-leading reputation and pride themselves on providing the highest quality of service to our clients while enabling their employees to achieve their utmost in a supportive, inclusive, and enjoyable working environment.Due to an internal restructure and the growth of the team, they are looking to hire an ambitious and energetic Early Careers Advisor (Graduate Recruitment) to help them attract and hire the best and the brightest of the next generation of solicitors.
The Early Careers team is responsible for recruiting for all of the firm's trainee lawyers and Solicitor Apprentices, as well as vacation scheme candidates, and take an active role in the marketing and events surrounding this.The team has grown over the last year and has built a reputation as a consistent and high-functioning team, demonstrating high levels of professionalism, with a proactive and organized approach to the attraction, selection, and development of candidates.What they are looking for is a bright and confident Early Careers Advisor, Assistant, or Coordinator with creative flair and a real passion for the graduate recruitment process. Ideal candidates will have gained at least 2 years of experience within a law firm as a member of the Early Careers/Graduate recruitment team, but they will consider candidates whose experience comes from a non-legal partnership/professional services environment with the same kind of in-depth, lengthy training programme for their professional staff.
Key Responsibilities Include;
- Building relationships with external stakeholder, such as the universities and careers advisory organisations
- Mapping out the assessment process and marketing materials, ensuring a fair and equitable process that is run smoothly
- Assist and support the Early Careers Assistant in their duties
- Work closely with the Marketing & Events team and Early Careers Manager to prepare for all events.
- Keep up to date with industry and competitor developments which may impact strategy, and make suggestions for ongoing improvements.
