Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough inspections of street works, ensuring compliance with NRSWA regulations
- Recording and reporting on the condition of highway infrastructure and surface apparatus defects
- Assessing and managing street work licences and ensuring adherence to relevant legislation
- Preparing detailed reports and maintaining accurate records of inspections
- Liaising with contractors, utility companies, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and compliance
- Identifying and addressing issues promptly to maintain the safety and efficiency of street works
- Ensuring all inspections are conducted in line with the codes of practice and regulations
- Providing expert advice and support regarding street works and NRSWA compliance
Job Requirements:
- Experience with street works and NRSWA inspections
- Strong understanding of street works legislation, regulations, and codes of practice
- Proficiency in recording and reporting on infrastructure and surface apparatus conditions
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Relevant qualifications or certification in NRSWA or a related field
